Cabo San Lucas
Baha California, Mexico

Home of views and drinking and eating establishments. Once of the best places on the Pacific to go deep sea fishing.

Also, an excellent place to lose 3 gallons of water per day through your sweat glands. However, there are numerous establishments solely for the purpose of replenishing precious bodily fluids.

You can find Corona, Tecate, Bud, Coors, Pacifico, and my favorite citrus drink, Lime.
The restaurants are rather "rustic" but the food is incredible. And we never got sick at any of them...just at the 3 star hotel we stayed at! Watch out for salad bars, fruit juices, etc. They are not likely refrigerated and will turn on you and your digestive system in about 4 hours. You can choose from botulism, salmonella, and others but we did not find any. Just badly preserved juice.
We made several trips to Cabo. Once for 7 days where we stayed at the Finestera Hotel at the South end of the city and had a marvelous view of the surrounding area.

The second trip was part of a NCL cruise. After our 7 day stay, we saw just about all there is to see and so I doubt we will ever go back again.

It is very desert-like and the roads are terrible. The airport is about an hour's arduous ordeal away. But don't let me dissuade you. The place is very popular. And it is a lot of fun.
