Guerneville Jazz Festival September 7 & 8 1996 at Guerneville CA Lee Ritenour was last up but was, I think, the best of the show. This was one of our most unitique experiences for several reasons. First, we had never been to a jazz festival before this one. Second, we won this trip by being selected during Jim Hall's morning show on KSSJ, our local super soft jazz station. As a winner, we got a pair of tickets for two days to the festival plus free accomodations at the Doubletree Hotel in Santa Rosa CA. Not only was this a great jazz event, it was a super event for Evelyn and I. Here are some of my best shots from the festival. Other performers were: Randy Crawford, George Howard, Ginga Brasil, John Handy with Class, 3 of Worlds with Paul McCandless, Mighty Clouds of Joy, and The Andy Narell Group.
