JazzTrax Mexico Cruise Here we go on a 3 night jazz cruise sponsored by Art Good's JazzTrax. This was on the RCCL Viking Serenade. Having been on 5 other cruises, the cruising part of this was OK but not terrific. The music was marvelous however. The problem with the on-board cruise quality was a continual sense of rushing. Hurry up and eat dinner. Move here, then there. Plus, there were too few chairs to be able to sit by the pool. The food was generally OK but I've had better on NCL. Well, we never engaged with JazzTrax again. At first, Art said that photos were OK to take. We did take some and you can see them on this site. Then, all of a sudden, he changed his attitude and policy....no pix allowed. So we changed our policy...no JazzTrax events allowed. We used to go to Tahoe, Catalina Island, and Mexico for JazzTrax. Needless to say, JazzTrax is history as far as we are concerned. Visit the jazz pages to see the performers. They were great! Fattburger played at the Hotel Coral which is just outside of Ensenada. Its a beautiful place and was a marvelous setting for a concert. Art said he was going to try for two groups to perform next year.
